Water Bath Canner

Water bath canners are used for processing high-acid foods such as jams, jellies, pickles, fruit, and acidified tomatoes.

What to consider when choosing:
A quality water bath canner must be tall enough to fully submerge jars under boiling water while maintaining a rolling boil. Materials such as stainless steel or enamel-coated steel provide even heat distribution and resist corrosion over time. A fitted lid helps stabilize temperature, while a sturdy internal rack prevents jars from contacting the bottom of the pot, reducing breakage.
